You may have seen the final few minutes of the Eagles’ victory over the Washington Redskins on Sunday, notably a two-yard scamper by running back LeSean McCoy near the sideline.

McCoy initially thought that he had the first down, which would have completed sealed the victory for Philadelphia. So in celebration, he punched head coach Andy Reid.

Literally.

Here is the video:

Reid’s reaction is priceless. You’d think he got hit a lot harder than he really did. I guess he just wasn’t expecting it.

About 10 minutes ago, McCoy just tweeted the following:

“Coach Reid lol sorry bout punching u n the stomach just excited …. all love @Andyreid”

What’s funny is that McCoy tweeted @Andyreid yet his head coach doesn’t have a Twitter account. Instead McCoy just tagged some random photographer in Ontario, a guy who has 117 followers (and will probably get a bunch more).

And yes, for those of you too naive to realize it, the punch on Reid was a joke. It was in celebration.
