The Chicago Bears are coming to Philadelphia for a Monday night match-up with the surging Eagles. Philadelphia will, once again, be under the bright spotlight of a national, prime-time game. Eagles fans are ranting like Bart Scott………”Can’t Wait!!!”
It is a game that will be a physical contest. The Bears are always a hard-nosed defensive team that will look to smack the Birds right in their beak. Additionally, their running attack, featuring Matt Forte, will be a daunting task for the Eagles defense to handle.
Forte averages a robust 5.4 yards per carry. He is similar to LeSean McCoy in that he is extremely shifty and an excellent receiver. The Eagle will have their hands full.
None of this matters to the average Eagle fan. To them, it is a game the Eagles must and should win. Jay Cutler will be the next Tony Romo, baffled, bewildered and battered.
It is gut check time for the Eagles. The fans are ’on board’, so let it be a fun ride………………not a total bummer.
