The Philadelphia Eagles had simply no return game during the 2011 season.  Not just a bad return game, the worst in the NFL.

Kick returner, Dion Lewis, was instant boredom.  I treated Eagles kick returns like extended commercial breaks he was so bad.  Lewis managed to average 21.6 yards per return (most coming from 4-6 yards deep in the end zone) with a season long of a whopping 33 yards.  Dion Lewis is the Reno Mahe of kick returns.

DeSean Jackson decided to avoid injury, so he just mailed it in on punt returns.  He literally did nothing except fair catch the ball or run out of bounds.  Jackson averaged 6.7 yards per return.  Chad Hall was clearly a better choice.

The Eagles need to figure the return game out.  Right now, it is like having a starting halfback who averages 2.6 yards per carry with a season long run of eighteen.  Andy, examine your offensive weapons, defensive skilled players and improve the return aspect of the game.
