Flyers-Rangers Winter Classic to be Announced Officially Tomorrow

Finally, the NHL is ready to formally announce the 2012 Bridgestone Winter Classic.

Tomorrow the 2012 Bridgestone Winter Classic game between the Philadelphia Flyers and New York Rangers will be announced at 1:30 PM in a press conference held at Citizens Bank Park, where the event will be held. The game will take place on January 2nd this year to avoid a match-up between the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Redskins across the street at Lincoln Financial Field.

Also, HBO’s “24/7″ coverage will begin filming at tomorrow’s press conference.
