NXT Stock Report: Week of Oct. 20

For the past several weeks, Carmella has been training with Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady, which has produced a series of comical and entertaining videos. The former hairdresser made her in-ring debut this past week by defeating an unheralded opponent. She did not display her full arsenal of moves, but Carmella already seems to have charisma and has the benefit of being paired with NXT’s most popular tag team.

Rawley has seemingly lost his way over the past few months, as he was repeatedly victimized by both Bull Dempsey and Tyler Breeze. Last week, he announced that he will be out of action because of an injury. Rawley has slowly lost fan support, and his latest setback could prove very detrimental to his future in the company.

Becky Lynch had an impressive showing last week against NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte. Although she did not claim a victory, Lynch displayed some of the in-ring prowess that could make her a future WWE diva. More importantly, it seems as though her interaction with Sasha Banks after the match could lead to a character twist for Lynch, which could help propel her into bigger storylines.

The Frenchman had been shifting between singles competitor and manager early in the year, but seemed to find a home with Marcus Louis in the tag team division over the past few months. That team imploded last week, though, when Louis attacked Lefort as retribution for Lefort sacrificing him to have his head shaved bald. If they do feud, expect Louis to prevail, leaving Lefort searching once again for a role in NXT.

Another week, another dominant victory for the mysterious Baron Corbin. Most recently, he knocked off upstart Elias Samson in approximately 10 seconds. Corbin has the size and look of a future star, and his recent appearances have intrigued the fans. The future looks very bright for the lone wolf of NXT.
