As expected, the Seattle Seahawks were unable to find a trad partner for veteran WR T.J Houshmandzadeh and have cut him. This move has been confirmed by both Adam Schefter and Jay Glazer within minutes of one another via Twitter. So where does the veteran head to now.

According to Judd Zulgad, beat writer covering the Minnesota Vikings, Houshmandzadeh would like to join the Minnesota Vikings. However, according to the beat writer, the Vikings are not interested in signing the wide receiver. A move I think is foolish, but then again the Vikings aren’t high on my list of teams doing smart things right now after basically giving away QB Sage Rosenfels in a “trade” with the New York Giants last night.

Houshmandzadeh is going to end up somewhere, I think the most logical destination is either the Oakland Raiders or the Washington Redskins. The Redskins are in desperate need of a pass catcher to help out Donovan McNabb.
