The Chicago Bears are wasting no time in improving.  Per numerous reports, the Bears have acquired star wideout Brandon Marshall from the Miami Dolphins for two third round draft picks, one this year and one next year.

This reunites Marshall with Jay Cutler, who played together in Denver.  If the Bears somehow sign Mario Williams, that’s a heck of a Bears off-season.

Does this mean the Chicago Bears won’t be going after free agent Vincent Jackson? If they were somehow able to pull off that trifecta, the Bears could end up being a major contender in the NFC.

The great news is simply this: as a Green Bay Packers fan, I’m not worried yet, but the NFC North got a whole lot tougher. The Packers are absolutely the best team in the NFC North, and it will stay that way until the Chicago Bears beat the Packers one on one.
