Are Manchester United and Juventus Preparing a Swap?
Even though both Manchester United and Juventus are considered two of the best teams in Europe, they always have their sights set on the transfer market to improve their already-potent squads.
The Serie A outfit are desperately looking for a winger to upgrade over Kwadwo Asamoah, and the Red Devils are searching the market for a striker to complement both Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney. So, there are ongoing rumors that there could a swap coming between the two teams as soon as January next year.
According to reports, the Serie A champions are very keen on signing Nani, who hasn’t been able to replicate his past success this season. With all the rumors of David Moyes looking to offload the Portuguese star, Juventus are the first team in line to submit a bid, but Manchester United would require Mirko Vucinic to be in a possible transfer deal.
The Montenegrin striker is similar to Dimitar Berbatov and the Old Trafford outfit hasn’t been able to find a proper striker since the Bulgarian left for Fulham a few years ago.
Although numbers haven’t been discussed yet, this would be a swap that would benefit both parties. Juventus would have a world-class winger in their squad that could broaden their offensive options and as a return, Manchester United would receive a finesse striker capable of playing both inside and outside the box.
