Real Madrid might not be leading in the standings of La Liga this season, but it’s undeniable that they will mount a title challenge if they keep playing this way.

The team led by Carlo Ancelotti has won every single league match after losing against Barcelona in October, and they have been doing it in spectacular fashion. This time, they defeated Real Valladolid 4-0 without Cristiano Ronaldo in the lineup, but their other forwards played admirably as they carried the offense in another solid win.

Gareth Bale scored three times, and Karim Benzema netted the other goal in what was a convincing display for Los Merengues. They seem to be playing better as the season advances, and the Welshman’s improvement in recent weeks has been nothing short of spectacular.

After completing a world-record transfer that cost almost €100 million, Bale created much hope for Real Madrid’s fans when he scored in his first game with the team against Villarreal. However, several injuries and poor displays created a lot of doubts as to whether it was the right move to sign him on such an expensive deal. Well, he’s quickly turning things around with his recent performances.

Bale has now scored six goals in his last five games across all competitions, and he’s becoming a huge offensive threat for Real Madrid. He’s also developing a lot of chemistry with Ronaldo and Benzema, and that is not a good thing for the rest of the world as they are three of the best forwards in the game.

It remains to be seen whether Real Madrid will be able to compete for the title as they had a very slow start to the season, but one thing is sure: if Gareth Bale can maintain this level of play, Real Madrid will be a tough team to beat on any given day.
