The 2014-15 Premier League season is now at the halfway stage, and every team understands exactly what type of season lies ahead for them. The pressure is on every position in the standings for different reasons, but the pressure of potential relegation is what grips the most number of teams in the division. Here are the top five teams that are on relegation watch heading into Week 20's round of games.

West Brom have won one, drawn one and lost seven from their last nine EPL games and currently sit just one point outside of the relegation places. The Baggies are also currently without a manager after Alan Irvine was sacked on Monday ahead of their next game against West Ham United on Thursday. The team needs both a new manager and some points on the board as urgently as possible.

Hull City have won one game in their last 12 outings and now face another team in bad form in their next fixture, Everton. Scoring goals is the Tigers' biggest problem, and unless that changes sometime soon, things will inevitably get worse as the season heads into 2015.

Crystal Palace are another team that has decided to change their manager mid-season in the hope of kick-starting their attempts to remain in the Premier League. Neil Warnock was sacked recently, and the pressure will now all be on the new man -- potentially Alan Pardew -- to guide Palace to safety. A pivotal game against Aston Villa awaits next in Week 20.

Burnely produced a monumental comeback from 2-0 down against the defending champions, Manchester City, last time out. There has been a definite upturn in form recently for the Clarets, and they will now be looking to build on that momentum in the upcoming games. Newcastle United are next up, and a win would almost certainly see Sean Dyche and his men elevate themselves out of the relegation positions.

Leicester City may have won last time out against Hull, but prior to that, the club's last victory came 15 games ago -- way back in September! Liverpool will be Leicester's next opponents, and the Foxes must now build on that victory against Hull. Another brutal run of form will see the club relegated without question.
