Goc goal help Panthers get by Canucks

The Florida Panthers defeated the Vancouver Canucks 2-1 on Monday at BankAtlantic Center. The Canucks haven’t lost to the Panthers in regulation since Oct. 20, 1999 coming into tonight’s game. Marcel Goc scored the game winning goal in the game and he also added an assist to Dmitry Kulikov’s goal. Dale Weise scored the Canucks lone goal of the game. The Canucks outshot the Panthers 26-22. Roberto Luongo made his return to Florida, after spending 5 seasons with the Panthers. He would make 20 saves on 22 shots. His counterpart Scott Clemmensen would make 25 saves on 26 shots. The Canucks will head to Tampa Bay to take on the Lightning on Tuesday night.
