2013 NBA Playoffs: Miami Heat’s Dominance in Game 2 a Sign of Things to Come

Ok, we get it — don’t make LeBron James mad.

After the Chicago Bulls stole Game 1 on the road, the Miami Heat absolutely crushed them in Game 2. Miami won the game by 37 and led by as many as 46 in the blowout.

The Bulls certainly let their emotions get the best of them as they were collectively called for six technical fouls, which resulted in Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson both getting ejected. The contest had been decided by that point, but now the Bulls are on their heels and the Heat are storming into Chicago determined to make sure this series doesn’t go longer than they want.

As the series shifts to the Windy City knotted at 1-1, expect more of the same. Sure, the Bulls have done well overall without Derrick Rose, Luol Deng and Kirk Hinrich, but LeBron dominated Game 2 and he only scored 19 points. If you know basketball, then you know that’s even scarier than him scoring 50 points. In addition, Ray Allen came back from the basketball dead as he led all scorers with 21 points in Game 2. So even if one of the Heat’s superstars goes cold, the phrase “next man up” has been taken to a new level in Miami.

In other words, the Bulls are about to find out just how tough life can be without a healthy roster.
