NFL's Top 5 Games of Week 4

NFL's Top 5 Games of Week 4
Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

It's Week 4 of the NFL season and we're starting to get an idea of who's legit and who's not. There are several 3-0 teams looking to remove all doubt regarding their status while many 0-3 teams are desperate for a win to salvage the first quarter of the season. For some of those weaker teams, another loss could mean big changes at the player, coach and/or executive levels. We've already seen the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Minnesota Vikings switch quarterbacks this year, even though the latter claims it's because of injury, but we know that's a bunch of horse radish.

A team like the New York Giants could easily fire its head coach because it seems like we've heard a rumor about Tom Coughlin getting fired every other day for the past decade. But aside from the Pittsburgh Steelers and Vikings having a pillow fight in London this week, we're mostly concerned bout the games that feature contenders, right?

Fortunately there are a handful of games that should produce entertaining results, if nothing else. The best part is the whole weekend gets capped by a pair of undefeated teams squaring off on Monday Night Football. Here are the top five NFL games to watch this weekend:

The Seahawks at the Texans is a pretty good matchup on paper, but this game will be determined by which Houston team shows up. If it's the one that sometimes looks like a Super Bowl contender, we could have the game of the week on our hands here.

Eagles at Broncos

The Eagles at the Broncos is interesting because both teams run fast, hurry-up offenses, so it will be fun to see which one runs out of gas first in a shootout. Just remember that Peyton Manning plays for one of these teams.

4 of 6

Cowboys at Chargers

The Cowboys at the Chargers is by far the most intriguing contest of Week 4 because these are two of the most unpredictable, inconsistent teams in the NFL, so this game could shake out in a variety of ways. Regardless, it'll be fun to watch…for one reason or another.

Patriots at Falcons

The Patriots at the Falcons is another game that should see a lot of points, but the undefeated Pats are on the road facing a desperate Atlanta team, which means late-game heroics will be tougher than ever for Tom Brady.

Dolphins at Saints

The Dolphins at the Saints features a pair of undefeated teams that don't really know what to expect from each other, so this could be one of those memorable games that folks talk about for months. Regardless of what happens on Sunday, make sure you're in front of the TV on Monday night.
