NFL Game of the Week: Cowboys at Saints

After a weekend of really poor NFL matchups, Week 10 offers several games between teams with winning records and the headliner is the Dallas Cowboys at the New Orleans Saints on Sunday Night Football at the Superdome. If you like scoring, then waiting all day for Sunday night will be well worth it this week.

The Cowboys are 5-4 and leading the weak NFC East division thanks to a truckload of passing by Tony Romo. The last time Dallas played an elite passing team, the result was 500 yards and five touchdowns from Romo in the fourth-highest scoring game in NFL history. Considering Drew Brees is the next best thing to Peyton Manning, we could be in for a similar show this week.

That’s especially true since Brees and the Saints are going to be angry back at home after a frustrating loss to the New York Jets. Expect Sean Payton’s squad to come out firing on all cylinders and ready to take advantage of the Cowboys’ last-ranked defense.

If you have any Dallas or New Orleans players on your fantasy team, start them this week because the punters will take the day off. Sunday Night Football is going to provide a gem, so make sure you’re in front of the TV for this high-flying NFC showdown.
