Kobe Bryant’s Return To Practice Will Boost Morale Of Los Angeles Lakers

Kobe Bryant is back!

The “Black Mamba” practiced with the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday for the first time since Bryant tore his achilles tendon way back in April. No. 24 has been working fiercely to get back on the floor and it looks like Kobe’s 2013 season debut might be here before you know it. In fact, Bryant said on Saturday that if the NBA playoffs started today, then he would be playing. Unfortunately, Kobe hasn’t been keeping up with the NBA standings, because the Lakers are hardly a playoff team with a pedestrian 4-7 record.

Needless to say, the Lakers could really use a healthy Bryant in their line-up. Los Angeles has lost two straight as Mike D’Antoni‘s crew is desperate for a spark. Kobe can serve as a saving grace for this club as he has the ability to light a fire under this underachieving team. With Kobe now back at practice on a daily basis, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Lakers rattle off four or five victories in a row as the return of a 15-time All-Star like Bryant is likely to give Los Angeles a major jolt.
