The Indiana Pacers just refuse to lose.
The NBA‘s regular season is already over two weeks old and the Pacers are 9-0 after a convincing win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday. Now, Paul George is usually the go-to guy when talking Pacers basketball, but this time it’s another Indiana star that’s getting all of the praise.
Ladies and gentleman: Roy Hibbert is playing like the best center in the NBA. This seven-footer has improved drastically over the years and 2013 looks to be his breakout campaign. Hibbert just destroyed the Bucks in this one with 24 points, 10 rebounds and 8 blocks! Talk about a two-way player. Hibbert is a threat to score whenever he touches the ball and his case for the NBA’s Defensive Player of the Year Award gets more legitimate by the day as he currently leads the league in blocks with 48 on the season.
Every great NBA team has at least one defensive stopper, and Hibbert is definitely that guy for the unbeaten Pacers. Let’s see if this red-hot club can continue its rampage against the division rival Chicago Bulls, who will host the Pacers on Saturday night.
