The USWNT started off the 2015 Women's World Cup Final with a bang.
The USWNT came into today’s game looking to exact revenge after losing the 2011 Women’s World Cup Final to Japan. They had a goal in mind, and didn’t wait to get going, scoring four goals in the first 16 minutes of the game. The first, second and fourth goals (the fastest hat trick in Women’s World Cup history) all came from Carli Lloyd, who quickly primed herself for the Golden Boot Award.
