Korey Cunningham, Former Giants Offensive Lineman, Dies at 28

Former Giants offensive lineman Korey Cunningham was found dead in his home in New Jersey last Thursday. He was 28. 

Clifton police responded to the man’s home after a family member called the police because he could not reach the man. 

Clifton police were able to get into the man’s residence around 1:15 p.m. and found Cunningham dead. 

At this point, a police spokesperson confirmed no cause of death has been given out to the public. 

The 6-foot-6, 311-pound Cunningham played with the Giants last season but was released early in the year. He has not had a team since. 

Known for his football prowess, Cunningham was a member of the Cardinals, the Patriots, and the Giants. 

The tackle was drafted 254th overall in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Cardinals and played college football at Cincinnati. Cunningham was born in Alabama.
