So, Boise had a win over a “good” San Diego State team, yet Michigan is criticized for beating the same team?
I like Boise, and I completely agree that they were hosed in this scenario, but come on… The reason they are left out is because they play in a crap conference. Yes, they had a win against Georgia, which should be worth much more than any other win…even K-state’s win over Baylor. The reality is that Boise has to take the money and run to the Big East. Though, that will not ensure that they will get into the BCS much longer.
Kansas State is an improved team, but if there was another Big 12 team taken, it should have been Baylor. Everyone complains about the SEC being over-rated or whatever, but the Big 12 is the conference that is overrated. Oklahoma stinks. OSU…lost to Iowa State. I enjoy watching Baylor, I rooted for K State, but the Big 12 is no better than the ACC.
Va Tech is terrible.
Computers have Big 12 at #1 toughest football conference and humans have it as the #2. ACC is 4 and 5. There a big difference. Va Tech is a darling for some reason. They had a nothing game against Duke. Thats why all the betters took clemson to win outright and killed it. Kstate rolled thru Baylor, Texas, Texas a&m, Missouri & Texas Tech. Why doesn’t the SEC look at ACC programs. Missouri and the SEC think they will compete in the SEC. Arkansas Kstate will be a heavily watched game. VA tech will roll over. Something is missing with that team. Some Va Tech players are looking at the next level a little to much.
I am a huge k-state fan and completely agree that k-state got shafted. But lets not bring up the VA tech vs Duke game please… because someone is bound to look at our schedule and remember the pitiful showing against Eastern kentucky.
