Danielle Parenteau

Danielle Parenteau

I am a sophomore at Cypress College, where I am majoring in journalism. I will be spending my final year there as the Editor-in-Chief of The Cypress Chronicle, overseeing Divergence magazine, CyChron.com, and the Cypress College Media Network and all its webcast programs. After Cypress, I plan to complete my studies at a California university, possibly Chapman or the Dominincan U. of CA. Outside of school, I am, of course, a diehard sports fan. My favorites are baseball and hockey, but I also like basketball and tennis. My other interests include politics, social activism, animal rights, LGBT rights, environmentalism, literature, film, and music.

There has been talks of the NHL returning to Kansas City, Mo. for years; could the Los Angeles Kings help make that happen? Seeing the NHL play in Kansas City is not new, of course. The last game there was in 2009 as the Kings faced the New York Islanders, also in an exhibition match. Plus, [...]
