With NBA free agency in full swing, the NBA rumors keep on coming and the Brooklyn Nets are in the thick of things concerning free agents and potential trade talks.

Free agent point guard Steve Nash will meet with the Nets early Monday morning. Nash meeting with the Nets adds to list of potential point guards that the Nets have their eye on. Even with reports that Deron Williams and Jason Kidd could be coming to Brooklyn, the Nets will still entertain the Nets. Williams will be meeting with the Dallas Mavericks on Monday as well and then meet with the Nets Monday night.

Nash is also being entertained by the New York Knicks and the Toronto Raptors. There is already a report that the Raptors have offered Nash a three-year, $36 million contract. With Williams wanting to make his decision by July 4, the dominoes could be falling at anytime.

The Nets could use Nash if Williams  decides to depart from Brooklyn. However, Nash is climbing up near the 40-year old mark and if the Nets want him they will have to pay a hefty price.

The Nets are also in the process of possibly trading for the Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard. Needless to say, the Nets are going to be very active this offseason. With the Williams at the top of the target list, everything else is going to be secondary.
