Just when you thought Duke couldn’t get anymore annoying, they go out and do this. Midnight Madness is a growing trend in college basketball and it gives teams a good way to pump up the fans for the upcoming season. However, this stuff can get old fast. Duke basketball may have just crossed the line with their latest music video.
Complete with Auto-Tune and DJ Steve Porter, Duke’s music video is perfect for Duke fans and horrible for everyone else. And they wonder why they are one of the most hated programs in college basketball. Duke, people aren’t jealous of your accolades and titles (well, maybe just a bit). The reason for the hate is when you do stupid things like this.
