Jerome Miron-US PRESSWIRE

According to a report from the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, only five TCU football players failed a team-wide drug test given by head coach Gary Patterson, as opposed to the 82 that was reported yesterday.

Rant Sports reported the action yesterday, which was a report from several sources that claimed Devin Johnson told an undercover officer that 82 players on the team failed a test.

Tanner Brock, who was likely going to be drafted in the 2012 NFL Draft, also told another undercover officer that he heard 60 players failed.

According to the newspaper, hat number has drastically reduced to five, with 11 more players being within the margin of error. Stefan Stephenson at the paper says that 86 players cleared the test.
