Video: Rafael Nadal Checks On Fallen Fan At Indian Wells Tournament
It looks Rafael Nadal is one of those good athletes. Nadal was playing in a doubles match at the Indian Wells Tournament and was throwing some autographed tennis balls into the stands. One of the gentlemen who was trying to grab the ball took a nosedive over a barricade and landed right on his head.
Most athletes would probably ignore the incident or laugh about it. Nadal actually went over to check on the man and make sure he was alright. Sure, the guy probably deserved it for fighting over a tennis ball, but it is the thought that counts.
Heck, Nadal even gives a hug. Name me an athlete that would do that in this day and age. When other sports are filled with drama queens who love seeing their name in headlines, it’s nice to see tennis has a humble star who cares about his fans.
