Even though LeBron James took home MVP honors for the Miami Heat after their thrilling Game 7 win over the San Antonio Spurs in the 2013 NBA Finals, the argument can be made the team may not have won the game without a miraculous performance by Shane Battier–who connected on six three-point shots in Game 7 on Thursday.

So what did the former Duke star do in celebration of winning the NBA Finals? Well, whatever type of party he attended following the game–it apparently didn’t stop him from hitting up Denny’s early Friday morning to celebrate.

Battier uploaded a photo of himself dining in at Denny’s (the photo says 6:19 a.m.) early Friday morning as  he made it clear the Grand Slam was his post-championship meal of choice. To be honest, Battier deserves all of the credit in the world for managing to get up this early, but it also wouldn’t be a surprise if he had yet to go to sleep when this photo was taken.

When it comes to professional sports and winning championships, most players are up partying all night and based off some of the photos and videos that were being uploaded to social media following the game–it’s no secret the players on the Heat were partying like there was no tomorrow. However, if there’s one thing to say about this photo, it would be there’s a good chance he was the only player in good enough shape to attend breakfast this early assuming how hard the rest of his teammates were partying throughout the night.
