Rant Poll: Jeremy Lin or Tim Tebow?

RANT It!

It’s been an exciting time lately for sports fans around the world. A few months ago, the NFL Denver Broncos’ Tim Tebow became the most talked about sports figure in recent memory with his seemingly miraculous play in the 4th Quarter.

Now the NBA has a poster boy of its own with the New York Knicks’ Jeremy Lin going from unknown to global sensation overnight. They came at it from different angles – Tebow was a polarizing and hyped collegiate athlete who no one expected to hit it big in the NFL. Jeremy Lin was a generally unknown Harvard graduate and is a 2nd year player who was averaging a minute or two per game for his first year and half in the NBA.

Now they are households names at least, and have semi-’cultish’ followings at best.

However, the question on everyone’s mind is simple: how long will they last, and will they sustain their popularity and stardom? If you had to pick who will still be around in 5 years, who would you choose? Either, neither, or both?
