Portland Trail Blazers Seeking Point Guard
The Portland Trail Blazers have been one of the teams that have been most talked about aside from the Orlando Magic in the past week. Teams have been targeting two of their players, Raymond Felton and Jamal Crawford and Portland has been looking for a point guard in return.
Dwight Jaynes of CSNNW.com has been keeping up with reports on Felton and Crawford.
Jaynes thinks that the Trail Blazers might be seeking Luke Ridnour in a trade involving Crawford heading to Minnesota so that head coach Nate McMillan could use Wesley Matthews more as the backup to Nicolas Batum.
However, a Ridnour trade is a backup is the Blazers cannot obtain Jose Calderon from Toronto, Steve Nash from Phoenix or Rajon Rondo from Boston.
As for Felton, Jaynes says that a possible Felton for Steve Blake deal could happen but considers Blake a move backward and would not be the difference maker on the team.
