Tight end Ladarius Green has been pretty solid so far in training camps and delivered when his number was called in the last game of the preseason for the San Diego Chargers. Even though he'll be backing up Antonio Gates, if an injury occurs or especially during dual tight end formations, expect Green to continue proving his worth.

Tight end Travis Kelce has incredible speed for a big guy and will make use of it once the regular season starts. He catches pretty much anything thrown his way and is expected to have a breakout season if his performance in preseason football has anything to do with it. He's relatively unknown and is a deep sleeper to have a big year this season.

3. Kyle Rudolph

Tight end Kyle Rudolph will absolutely thrive under new offensive coordinator in Norv Turner. He's a deep sleeper since many don't expect much out of the Minnesota Vikings this season but make no mistake about it, Rudolph will be a big part of their offense. Expect to see him used in various different ways, especially in the red zone.

2. Dwayne Allen

Tight end Dwayne Allen will thrive in a revamped offense with the Indianapolis Colts. Expected to be used in more dual tight end formations, Allen should have a pretty good season even though many have written him off due to his history with injuries. If healthy, Allen will be a deep sleeper based on the fact that he's had incredible success in the past and is said to look like he's in his prime before getting hurt last year. Keep an eye on him!

The New York Jets will run the football more than probably any other team in the NFL and those great play-action plays will be centered around both wide receiver Eric Decker and tight end Jace Amaro. An ultimate deep sleeper this season, Amaro is a huge target and while he's been struggling a bit in preseason, he's finally coming around. He's expected to have a big season and bring an incredible jolt to the Jets' passing game.
