As I’m sure all Kings fans recall, Dustin Penner’s little pancake mishap in early January that caused him to suffer from back spasms earned the left winger quite a bit of media attention. But don’t worry, for those of you who missed out on the delicious disaster, I have all the details for you right here.
About a week after the incident, Penner announced he would host a charity breakfast event in light of the accident. Sure enough, he stuck to his word and this Monday, February 13, IHOP will be hosting “Pancakes with Penner” for 75 lucky fans who will get the chance to sit down with the accident-prone forward and enjoy a good meal.
