The injury to Pablo Sandoval has been a blessing with the way Shaw has played this year. He is having a true breakout season, and with an OPS of .940, he's certainly among the best third basemen in the American League this season.

Bogaerts was good last year, but he's been great this year. He's on pace to hit for new career highs in both doubles and home runs, and he's slugging close to .500. It's hard to argue that he should not be included on the All-Star team.

3. Craig Kimbrel

Trading for Kimbrel has certainly worked out for the Red Sox so far. He has converted 11 of 12 save chances and is striking people out at an alarming rate, which should be enough to put him on the All-Star team.

A hitting streak of 24 and counting is more than enough to get Bradley onto the All-Star team. Even without such a streak, Bradley is still hitting .338 with 21 extra-base hits thus far, and that makes him All-Star material as well.

In his final season, Big Papi was always going to make the All-Star team, but it helps that he's still crushing the ball. He already has 10 home runs, 16 doubles and an OPS of 1.044, which is nothing short of amazing at his age.
