San Jose picks 6th in the 2012 MLS Super Draft.  The Earthquakes need a defender who can display versatility like West Virginia’s Eric Schoenle.  The Earthquakes may have a hard time turing down the temptation to take the best player available.

If UCLA forward Kelyn Rowe falls out of the top 5 he will be the pick.  If Rowe goes in the top 5 than Eric Schoenle will be the pick.  Schoenle is a West Virginia defenseman in his junior yeat at the Mountaineers.  Schoenle can play center back, left back, and right back.  He looked really well in West Virginia’s 2 to 1 win over Xavier.  Schoenle could move up in next week’s MLS Mock Draft to Toronto.  You cannot rule out the option of North Carolina forward Billy Schuler falling to San Jose.  Enzo Martinez could be another candidate for the San Jose Earthquakes if he slides to this selection.
