The Seton Hall Pirates are coming off of a season where they finished with a 15-18 record overall and a 3-15 Big East record. So, what can fans look forward to in the 2013-14 college basketball season.

Unfortunately, fans cannot look forward to their Pirates winning a conference title because that is not going to happen. However, this team could and should improve in the upcoming season. It is not an easy thing for a team to have as bad of a season as Seton Hall did for two seasons in a row.

Seton Hall fans can also look forward to another season of some Fuquan Edwin. Edwin averaged 16.5 points per game and 5.8 rebounds per game this past season. He will easily be one of the best players in the Big East and he could really help this team rack up some wins–at least more wins than last season.

The upcoming season will not be easy on the Pirates, but I do not see them finishing with a 3-15 record in the Big East once again. Sure, they will be one of the worst teams in the Big East on paper entering the season, but some talent is coming back along with some great incoming freshmen–Jaren Sina.

That alone should help Seton Hall be a better team. So although this team will likely not take the college hoops world by storm, it really cannot get any worse for it in the upcoming season. Making the Big Dance or not, there is a lot that fans can look forward to in the 2013-14 season.
