5 Things To Watch For In UCLA vs. Texas

Brett Hundley is looking a little like Troy AIkman did in his college prime, and the Heisman Trophy hopeful has had two outstanding contests. The question is whether or not Hundley can shine in a spotlight game like this one, and the odds are that he will have at least two or three touchdown passes.

Hundley's partner in crime on the playing field is Jordan Payton, and we should see at least one touchdown pass from Hundley to Payton in this game. Payton has been a dependable wideout threat throughout the first couple of contests, and a great game here could cause his stock to rise.

Led by Eric Kendricks, the Bruins' defense has been solid throughout the early part of the year, and Kendricks has an ability to make big plays and be where the ball is at all times. Don't be surprised to see Kendricks or another member of the UCLA defense produce a key turnover.

Even if UCLA wins, expect Texas quarterback Tyrone Swoopes to throw at least one or two touchdown passes in his appearance in a big game. Swoopes should have a chance to prove himself, although the Texas QB situation is a bit shaky right now, and a decent game should give Swoopes an upper hand.

Malcom Brown has been a stellar part of the Texas defense so far, and the odds are pretty good that he will have a decent outing in Saturday's game. He is on the Bronco Nagurski Trophy list for players to watch on defense, and he had 2.5 sacks against BYU in a 41-7 loss.
