Please allow me to once again express my opinion on how worthless this final preseason game really has become. Look, does it really matter if Garrett Wolfe or Khalil Bell make the team? Will our whole season be won or lost based on Tim Shaw’s status as a special teams performer? So why bother with this exercise in ripping off season ticket holders with one more meaningless game? I am glad Jay Cutler isn’t playing. He is getting his tail kicked up and down the field. But maybe we should all be a little more concerned about Brian Urlacher. While the Chicago Bears are sticking to the story he will be ready for the Detroit Lions, this is a guy that has played about a quarter and a half this whole preseason after missing all of last season.
