3 Keys for the Houston Texans Against the Miami Dolphins

Coming into the game against the Miami Dolphins the Houston Texans have three keys to victory

First, the Texans must contain Reggie Bush. Bush is the most dynamic player on the Dolphins offense and coach Joe Philbun will look to get the ball to him as often as possible. With his speed the Dolphins will look to move him around and exploit any weakness they see in the defense. It is important for the Texans secondary to locate Bush on each play.

Second, the team must must block pass rusher Cameron Wake. Wake is a force coming off the edge and should be disruptive against the Texans offense. Last yea he only had  5.5 sacks last year but had 14 the previous year and will looking to rebound early. With Houston staring an inexperienced right tackle blocking will be a key ingredient for Texans success.

Third, the Texans have to keep Ryan Tannehill uncomfortable. It will be the first regular season that Tannehill will face and he will be a bit hesitant and unsure of what to expect. By keeping him under constant pressure the Texans can for the young quarterback into mistakes. If Tannehill is allowed to get comfortable early he will have a better chance of successfully managing the game. Also to keep the pressure on Tannehill the Texans offense needs to score early by making him from behind. Forcing a rookie quarterback to be the key player to beat you slides the likelihood of success in your favor.

If the Texans are successful accomplishing all three goals they should be victorious this Sunday.
