Despite a few amazing special teams plays by the Seattle Seahawks, the Dallas Cowboys were able to mount a great offensive effort and a solid defensive game; coming away with a win. Here are five takeaways from the game from the Seahawks' side.

Percy Harvin has the speed, elusiveness and field vision to be one of the most versatile offensive weapons in the NFL. Against the Cowboys, however, he was kept to negative yardage on three rushes and zero yards on three receptions. Three of his kickoff returns did not make it to the 20-yard line.

This should not be read as "The Legion of Boom is Overrated," but "Tony Romo Solved the Legion of Boom" or "Seattle's Defense is on its way out after loss to Cowboys." But Romo passed for 250 yards and completed 21 of 32 with two touchdowns and no interceptions. He threw the ball to eight different receivers all over the field.

Nobody with a brain can say the Seahawks have an elite passing game, but against the Cowboys they didn't look very good at all. Russell Wilson was uncharacteristically inaccurate, and the receivers were covered by the Cowboys' defensive backs, who looked great on Sunday afternoon. Wilson threw 14 of 28 for just 128 yards and an interception.

Beast Mode is the backbone of the Seahawks' offense. He rushed 10 times for 61 yards against the Cowboys. Wilson and the passing game were not working, but rather than allowing their top tier running back to have a few more touches, the Seahawks decided to keep throwing. He is one of the best running backs in the league and if the Seahawks had used him more on Sunday, they may have had a better chance.

In terms of run defense, Seattle had a very rough day on Sunday. Demarco Murray went for 125 yards on 29 attempts and had six catches for 31 yards. Lance Dunbar had zero yards rushing but did get four catches for 48 yards and finally, Joseph Randle had five rushes and earned a total of 52 yards. The Seahawks simply couldn't stop the Cowboys' offense on Sunday and the rushing game was particularly impressive.
