Week 8 Matchup: Baltimore Ravens (5-2) vs. Cincinnati Bengals (3-2-1)
TV Schedule: Sunday, Oct. 26, 1:00 p.m. ET, CBS
Stadium: Paul Brown Stadium
Line: Baltimore (-1)
Although the season is still early, the Cincinnati Bengals probably cannot afford to lose this game. After all, the Baltimore Ravens are already two games ahead of them in the win column, and have been hot.
Baltimore is coming off a victory over the Atlanta Falcons – won by the score of 29-7. The game before that? How about a victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by the score of 48-17. Sure, Tampa Bay is not the best team in the NFL, but winning by that big of a margin — on the road — is always pretty impressive.
You could say the Bengals could have played better last week, as they lost by the score of 27-0 against the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts are a great team to say the least, but that bad of a beating will certainly have some fans worried. It’s important to note that Cincy won its first three games of the season, and it hasn’t claimed a victory since Sept. 21.
The Bengals could use a pick-me-up, and I am predicting them to get one in this contest. They already beat Baltimore once this year, and will be at home this time around. Although the line is almost even coming in, Cincinnati will get back to its winning ways, and keep pace in the AFC North.
PREDICTION: Ravens 21, Bengals 28
