The Seattle Seahawks are favored by many to repeat as Super Bowl champs this year in Arizona. With a defense as ferocious as theirs, they are a scary group to play against for any team. However, their defense cannot do it all by themselves and a repeat is doubtful.

Although they will have home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, an overwhelming amount of Seahawks fans will need to travel to Arizona for the Super Bowl to have any sort of effect on the game.

By trading away Harvin to the New York Jets, the Seahawks not only got rid of one of their best offensive players, but one of their best special teams players. The dangerous kick returner will not be returning any kick-offs for touchdowns in this Super Bowl.

Seattle relies heavily on its running game. After all, it has the one people call “Beast-mode” in Marshawn Lynch. However, if a defense can manage to merely contain the running game, the Seahawks will have to resort to their 27th ranked passing offense.

With a very strong defense and a healthy Rob Gronkowski, the Pats have a good shot at winning the AFC. The Seahawks are relatively untested against New England having not played it since 2012. With Darrell Revis and Brandon Browner, an explosive rushing performance by both Lynch and Wilson would be their only chance.
