Lions vs. Cowboys NFL Wild Card: TV Schedule, Betting Lines, Prediction

Dallas Cowboys

Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

Wild Card Matchup: Detroit Lions (11-5) vs. Dallas Cowboys (12-4)

TV Schedule: Sunday, Jan. 4, 4:40 p.m. ET, FOX

Stadium: AT&T Stadium

Line: Dallas (-6.5)

Both the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys are dangerous teams. Unfortunately, they will be taking the field against one another this weekend, which means only one of the two teams can move on in the playoffs.

Detroit may have lost to the Green Bay Packers in the last game of the regular season, but the Packers are very tough to beat at home (huge understatement). On a good note, the Lions did win four in a row before that contest. They will also travel to Dallas in this one. Usually, winning on the road is never an easy task, but the Cowboys are 4-4 at home in 2014.

Dallas is just as hot as anyone. It has won four games in a row, which includes a blowout victory against the Indianapolis Colts (42-7). Tony Romo has been playing great and DeMarco Murray has been a beast for the entire season. The team also has Dez Bryant, who has 1,320 receiving yards and 16 TDs.

Although Detroit is capable of pulling off the victory on the road, the Cowboys just have way too many weapons. Stopping Murray and Bryant in the same game is very hard to do. Look for Romo to look sharp in this playoff matchup, and for Dallas to move on to the next round.

PREDICTION: Lions 24, Cowboys 30
