The Miami Dolphins have made some big free agency moves this offseason. Perhaps this is the year they do enough to contend for the AFC East title. Here is how their decisions grade out so far.

The former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback will definitely help out the Dolphins' secondary in 2015, especially after the decision to part ways with Cortland Finnegan. They also got him for a good price. At only 5-foot-9, he's shown that size isn't everything, and he can cover almost anyone effectively.

The Dolphins placed a second-round tender on Shelby, showing how much they value him at the defensive end position. Although he is a rotational player, he has definitely proven his worth to the team. Hopefully he stays in a Dolphins uniform for the 2015 season.

This former Pro Bowl tight end will be a productive addition to this Dolphins team, and the pressure will fall on him to fill Charles Clay's shoes. The major downfall is Cameron's concussion history. Hopefully that won't play a factor in the coming year.

The Dolphins needed an upgrade at the wide receiver position after getting rid of Mike Wallace, and the addition of Kenny Stills provides just that. He is a young talent and deep threat that could prove to be a steal for this offense.

Despite the controversy Suh has been involved in over the years and the enormous deal the Dolphins signed him to, this was a move that had to be made. Miami needed to add defensive talent up front after losing Jared Odrick and Randy Starks this offseason, and that is exactly what they did in the biggest possible way.
