On Sunday morning, New Orleans Saints cornerback Brian Dixon was arrested in Miami Beach for resisting arrest without violence. It turns out the arrest came as a result of Dixon being pulled over for riding a moped.
An official at the correctional center said Dixon was pulled over for riding a moped and questioned the officer. He was then arrested.

Underhill gave more details of Dixon’s arrest, and they paint an ugly picture for the sophomore cornerback.
According to the report, Dixon was spotted splitting lanes and swerving in and out of traffic, cutting off a car at one point. He then began driving between a parking lane and the road before eventually stopping in a handicapped spot. At that point, cops confronted Dixon, who became “belligerent” after he was made aware of his traffic violations.
When Dixon was asked to sit on the curb due to his “imposing size, stature and weight, as well as the defendant’s agitated state,” he refused and stepped towards the officers. They attempted to subdue and handcuff him, at which point he tensed up and attempted to pull away. After allegedly making a racism accusation, he was taken into custody.
Dixon showed some promise during his rookie season, logging 166 snaps and displaying decent coverage abilities. However, after this run-in with the law, don’t be surprised to see the Saints sever ties with the former undrafted free agent.
