The Denver Broncos‘ first-round pick for the 2015 NFL Draft is in, and the Broncos just made their defense that much better. Missouri DE Shane Ray will be suiting up for the team that plays in the Mile High City on Sundays.

Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware are already making life on opposing offenses tough, and now this. Of course, Ray has had his off-the-field issues in the past, but you would have to think he would get his act together, especially after seeing his stock drop in the draft overnight.
Needless to say, Ray is in the perfect situation. You know, since he will get to play for a team that is considered a Super Bowl contender. Plus, Peyton Manning is still throwing the passes.
Ray could have gone much higher in the draft, but he also would have likely played for a team that had no shot at the playoffs. Not Denver. The Broncos are expected to make the playoffs, and not many people would be surprised if they made it back to the Super Bowl. That said, the season is still a lifetime away (or that is how long it seems), and so much can happen now until the season actually starts.
Denver now has three amazing pass rushers, which will surely have opposing offenses dreading the Broncos. Whether it is offense or defense, this team seems to have it all.
Ray, it’s time to focus on football 100 percent. You were just handed the keys to paradise.
