Here are five takeaways from the Denver Broncos' win over the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game.
The Denver Broncos played a masterful game against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots today. They were in his face the entire game, and this failed two-point conversion ended what was an exciting final few minutes of the game.
After making an absolutely amazing catch in double coverage on 4th-and-10 to keep New England's drive alive, Rob Gronkowski once again came through in the clutch despite having two defenders on him. Tom Brady was under tremendous pressure, and essentially just chucked it up for grabs in Gronkowski's direction. Gronkowski split the two defenders from behind and emerged for the miraculous touchdown reception.

The New England Patriots needed a big play in the worst way late in the fourth quarter. Somehow, Rob Gronkowski managed to make this epic reception while being swamped by double coverage. Gronkowski never ceases to amaze. There haven't many players in NFL history with his size, downfield speed and ability to make in-route adjustments. Gronkowski is simply in a league of his own.
Von Miller has been Tom Brady's worst nightmare today. Miller picked Brady off in the first half, has been in his face all game, and sacked him 2.5 times. Miller elected to exude some joy about his play today by busting a dance move after sacking Brady mid-way through the third quarter. With the way the NFL has cracked down on celebrations in any manner, it's hard to believe Miller got away with this without being slapped with an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.
