How about a proposition for Denver Broncos QB Tim Tebow, a proposition bet that is. The Denver Broncos moved back into the first round of this April’s draft to select University of Florida quarterback Tim Tebow. As soon as he was signed, Tebowmania took over. Tim Tebow jerseys were flying off store shelves at a record pace. He quickly became the leagues most polarizing figure, you either love him or hate him, there seems to be no middle ground. So, to capitalize on the Tim Tebow phenomenon, Bodog.com has rolled out their proposition bets on Tim Tebow’s on field performance this season.

Total passing yards for the season O/U 300 yards. I would have to go with the over on this one. The Denver Broncos are going to be a bad team this year, and I say he gets a couple starts late in the season.

Total passing touchdowns O/U 2.5. Again, I go with the over here. In addition to starting a few games, he figures to be involved in the Denver Broncos version of the Wildcat this season.

How many regular season starts in 2010 O/U 1. Denver Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels has too much invested in Tebow and at some point this season, he’s got to see what he has going forward. Over.

Total rushing yards in 2010 O/U 60 yards. This seems like an incredibly low number to me. Anyone who watched Tim Tebow at the University of Florida recognizes his running ability and since he will be used in the Denver Broncos wildcat, this seems like a no brainer. Over.

Total rushing touchdowns in 2010 O/U 2.5. I’ll have to continue the trend and say over. Tebow is a very gifted athlete and could be playing H-back if need be.

It seems as if the folks at Bodog don’t figure on Tebow seeing the field all that much this season, but I think he’ll be playing more than you think. By week 10 or 11, the Broncos could be well out of the playoff hunt and will have nothing to lose at that point, so why not play him?
