Last weekend, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin had one of the best games of his career against the San Francisco 49ers–recording nine catches for 143 yards and three touchdowns. With a key matchup against the Washington Redskins scheduled for Monday night, it appears the Cowboys will have to play without their top receiver.

According to the team site, Austin has been ruled out for Monday’s game with a hamstring injury after aggravating a hamstring injury against the 49ers. Ironically, Austin was questionable to play last weekend as well–but it appears Dallas wants to play it safe and make sure the injury doesn’t get any worse.

On top of Austin being out, the Cowboys could also be without Dez Bryant–who suffered a thigh injury against the New York Jets in Week 1–on Monday, but he did participate in practice a little bit on Saturday and will most likely be a game-time decision.
