Canucks beat Bruins despite Bruins dirty plays
Despite the fact that the Boston Bruins played dirty today, the Canucks still somehow manage to beat the Bruins 4-3. If the Bruins played like this against other teams in the NHL, most teams would lose this game and they would lose players to injury. The Vancouver Canucks-Boston Bruins Stanley Cup Rematch is like UFC on a pay-per-view. What I mean by that is there’s a lot of brawls and fighting and also stuff that gets a lot of viewers. Things got started when Shawn Thornton jumped Alex Burrows from behind. Dale Weise and Nathan Horton would get into a fight and Milan Lucic would leave the bench and get into the brawl. For that, Lucic would get a game misconduct for leaving the bench. Then in the 2nd period, Brad Marchand went low and clipped Sami Salo’s knee. Marchand would get a game misconduct and a major penalty for clipping. I seriously hope Brad Marchand gets suspended. In my opinion, I think he should be suspended 5 games. Now I think the question is are the Boston Bruins as dirty as the 1970 Philadelphia Flyers Broad Street Bullies?

Really, the Bruins played dirty? What game were you watching? Milan was going on for a line change and the NHL rescinded that ridiculous misconduct. The Canucks meanwhile needed SEVEN guys to take on one Bruin–an incident that Alex Burrows started by spearing Shawn Thornton in the face. How on earth the Canucks escaped that scrum with a 5 on 3 power play really was the difference in this game.
Weise challenged Shawn Thornton, and then decided against it as soon as Thornton obliged. In doing so, he showed what a cowardly team he & the rest of the Canucks are. No heart at all. Even their starting goaltender has too fragile an ego to line up against the Stanley Cup champs. How pathetic is that?
Lastly, the Canucks are still whining and crying about this game. The Bruins have taken the high road and said their penalty kill could have been better. The Bruins don’t need to make excuses. They have accountability, which is a foreign word in the Canucks’ dressing room.
I think next time, before you write such an accusatory commentary, it would be beneficial to actually watch the game.

Yes really. I was watching the Canucks-Bruins game. Yes I understand the NHL rescinded the misconduct on Lucic. Shawn Thornton starting the line brawl. Actually, it was Brad Marchands 5 on 3 power play that was the difference of the game, not the Thornton penalty. So I guess you’re saying that Brad Marchands hit on Salo was clean. Either you’re a biased Bruins fan or you were the one that wasn’t watching the game. The Bruins have a reputatino of being a dirty team, and they’re bullies who think they can get away with stuff. How about next time, before you comment, get your facts straight.
It is very clear that you are the biased canuck fan. Regardless of who started it, Ive never seen 6 hockey player literally jump on one hockey player in my life. Whether you’re on the street or on the ice that is cheaper and lower than Marchands hit will ever be. And weise…well he is the laughing stock of the US and Canada now…definitely a bigger girl than either of the Sedin sisters.
Biased Canuck fan? You make me laugh. I’m an unbiased Canuck fan. If I’m an unbiased Canuck fan, then I would say that Aaron Rome’s hit on Horton wasn’t dirty. Aaron Rome’s hit on Horton was dirty. I’m not saying what Weise did was right he should of fought. I guess your name say it all. You are either a dumb canucks fan, a canuck bandwagoner or just stupid.
If the Bruins played dirty then we can say you are a huge pussy. The Canucks are pussies because they need to jump the Bruins to win fights. Try to score even strength agianst the Bruins for a change. Because in the Stanley Cup the bruins won’t be in the penalty box half as much. Also try making a valid point.
Well if you say the Bruins aren’t a dirty team, then you’re the huge pussy and you must be blind. So the Chara hit on Pacioretty last year wasn’t dirty? And Marchand’s hit on Salo was clean? Wow. Get your fact straight. How about before calling me names next time, how about you actually watch the game. If they meet again in the finals, then the Bruins will be in the penalty box a lot because they’re injuring the Canucks.
