David Wilson Fumbles Twice, Causes Commotion in Fantasy Football World

When people sign up to play fantasy football, they know what exactly they are getting themselves into. High blood pressure, obsessive phone watching and panic attacks are all soon to follow. However, the negative side of the “sport” is always forgotten in an NFL offseason covered with mock drafts and sleepers. Well, anyone who had David Wilson on their team knows exactly how fantasy football defeat tastes.

Despite a severe injury to fellow New York Giants running back Andre Brown, Wilson was still unable to cement himself as New York’s go-to running back. Instead, the second-year back managed to fumble twice in Sunday night’s contest versus the Dallas Cowboys. Giants head coach Tom Coughlin has publicly embarrassed Wilson by saying he needs to stop the fumbling, but it apparently hasn’t worked thus far.

Thanks to Wilson’s two gaffs, the Giants were forced to plug in seventh-round pick Da’Rel Scott at running back, who had 25 total rushing yards heading into Sunday night’s game. Surely no one had even thought of starting Scott in their league, so Wilson definitely screwed a bunch of people over with his actions.

Even still, the G-Men have always had some sort of rushing attack, which means that either Wilson or Scott will be given a heavy workload when the Giants take on the high-flying Denver Broncos on Sunday.
