49ers’ Playoff Chances Take Major Hit After Tough Loss To Saints

Believe it or not; he NFL postseason is nearing. Therefore, football fans around the world are trying to decipher which teams will be contenders this winter and which squads are just flat out pretenders. Well, the San Francisco 49ers are one of those teams on the bubble and are they struggling to say the least. After a tough road loss to the New Orleans Saints, the Niners now sit at 6-4 after losing in back-to-back weeks.

Meanwhile, the Arizona Cardinals improved to 6-4 in Week 12 as they are riding some kind of hot streak. On top of that, the Chicago Bears were also victorious as Josh McCown has the 6-4 Bears right in the middle of the playoff hunt. Long story short — San Francisco can’t afford to keep dropping close games because the NFC is full of competitive teams. One thing is for certain; if Jim Harbaugh can’t rally his troops in these final weeks then the 49ers will be watching this year’s postseason from the couch.
