Nick Foles-Led Eagles Quietly Emerge As Favorite To Capture NFC East Title

By now, everyone in the NFL knows that the NFC (L)East is easily the worst division in football. However, that doesn’t mean we can just write the entire division off just yet. You see; the Philadelphia Eagles have won three straight games as Chip Kelly‘s bunch is starting to hit its stride, or so it seems.
With a hard fought win over the Washington Redskins on Sunday, the Eagles are now the front-runners in the NFC East with a 6-5 overall record. Philly now has a half game lead over the Dallas Cowboys, who have looked awful of late. Some Eagles fans may be scared of Dallas and its potent offense, but come on — it’s the Cowboys for crying out loud! We all know that Tony Romo can’t win the big game, which means this entire division is in the hands of Nick Foles.
If this young quarterback continues to play well, then the Eagles should have at least one playoff game in their future. Until then, keep an eye on Philadelphia to see if it can hang on and win the division or if a red-hot New York Giants team has a few aces up its sleeve.
