Falcons Hit New Low As Bobby Rainey Erupts For Streaking Buccaneers

The Atlanta Falcons have dropped to a brand new low. After winning 13 regular season games in 2012 and nearly reaching the Super Bowl, Atlanta was supposed to have a dynamite year in 2013. However, it’s already Week 12 and the Falcons have a mere two wins. At this rate, the only thing the Falcons will be contending for is the No. 1 pick in the 2014 NFL Draft this May!

Matt Ryan signed a huge contract this offseason as his deal was worth over $110 million. A few months removed from the deal and it’s safe to say that the Falcons are looking for the return label on Ryan’s contract. With two more interceptions against the lowly Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Ryan’s pick total for the season is all the way up to 12 — after throwing a mere 14 interceptions last season. To make matters even worse, the Falcons lost to the Bucs in painful fashion.

Bobby Rainey was a huge factor in this one as the explosive running back scored three touchdowns with over 160 yards on the ground. After starting the season 0-8, Tampa Bay has now won two games in a row, while the Falcons are on pace for a historically bad year.
